Maison Balzac and Sonoma have partnered to gather people at the table, where conversations start and memories are made. An alignment of quality products with functionality for the every day and a celebration of French tradition where bread is invited to every meal.
The Maison Balzac bread baskets, created exclusively for Sonoma, marry the elegance of traditional French weaving patterns with the ancestral craftsmanship of Colombian artisans. It takes 5 hours to meticulously weave each piece from Iraca Palm Fibers after they are dyed by hand by the local community of skilled weavers.
Each of the two designs will elegantly hold the loaf of your choice: a sourdough in the oval basket or a miche (Sonoma’s signature bread) in the round basket.
